Set a reminderSkorospelka Purple Jerusalem Artichoke is an early maturing variety with purple skinned tubers. It is cold tolerant and grows in poor or sandy soil. Each pack contains five tubers of assorted sizes.
The knobby, irregular tubers have a slightly sweet nutty flavour from their inulin content and can be eaten raw, roasted, or cooked like potatoes. Plants spread vigorously through underground tubers and can form dense colonies.
