collecting narrow leaf cattail and goldenrod seeds, from an old hay field that's been left to rewild. At the end of October the goldenrod are easy to identify here because they have these fluffy seeds. Every fall I collect them along with some of the native cattails that like to grow near this dugout.

Excellent for attracting pollinators.
We collected this seed this locally (Zone 3).

Grows around 24" (60cm) tall.
It's perennial and regrows from the ground every year.

Hardiness Zone: 2-3
Stratification Required: 60 days cold stratification
Planting instructions: Plant into seed beds or pots about 1/16" deep, tamp and and mulch lightly.
