Garden Sage (Salvia officinalis) - Perennial Herb - 40+ Seeds

Garden Sage (Salvia officinalis) is a woody Mediterranean herb with aromatic, velvety grey leaves used in cooking. It has been cultivated since at least Roman times.

Plants form compact clumps 18 to 30 inches tall and produce lavender to blue flower spikes in late spring. Sage grows in sun and dry, well drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. It is perennial in Zone 4 and can be grown as an annual in colder areas.
