Freedom Apple Tree

Freedom is a McIntosh descendant with Malus floribunda 821 lineage released in 1983 for disease resistance. Medium to large mostly red fruit with mild sweet subacid flavor; ripens mid to late season. Immune to scab and shows some resistance to mildew and cedar apple rust; vigorous spur type habit.
