Downy Arrowwood (Viburnum rafinesquianum) is a native Manitoba shrub with an upright, multi stemmed habit. Black fruit ripens in late summer and feeds birds, while white spring flowers support pollinators. The sharply toothed leaves have a characteristic downy underside.
The shrub tolerates shade and varied soil and is used in naturalized plantings, shelterbelts, and understory restoration.
