Amur Maple Seeds (Acer ginnala) - Tree Seeds - Hardiness Zone 2-3 - 50+ Seeds

Amur maple is a medium sized landscaping tree with leaves that turn brilliant red in the fall.

Hardiness Zone: 2-3, collected locally in zone 3
Scarify: Soak seeds in hot water and let cool then sit for 24 hrs
Stratification Required: 3-4 months of cold stratification. For best results plant outdoors in the fall and let nature do the rest.
Storage: Cold storage, keep seeds from completely drying out for best germination.
Planting instructions: Plant outdoors in fall, or cold stratify in the fridge over the winter. Sow 1/2 - 1" deep and cover with mulch.
