Ambrosia apple originated as a chance seedling in the Mennell family orchard at Cawston British Columbia in the early 1990s and released in the mid 1990s. Fruit ripens mid to late October; large conical bicolor with bright pink red over yellow ground. Texture is crisp and fine with high sugars low acidity slow to brown and stores well. Productive spur bearer with naturally low russet and a clean finish.
