American wild plum seed stock from a 30-year-old tree

Oak Summit Nursery · Southern Manitoba

american wild plums. typically a small plum, round that ranges from red to red and yellow when ripe, from 5/8 - 1" in size, soft flesh that's yellow, clingstone and tastes good - comparable to a pembina plum, but with astringent skin that makes them better for processing. nearly all of these had dropped recently, the tree is behind my basket and it's maybe 30 years old, about 15 ft tall. this one tree must have dropped twenty pounds of fruit, great seed stock for our nursery that otherwise would have been left for wildlife to clean up.
