brianna is a tasty green grape that can handle -40 .. once the vines are established. I’ve seen several around southern manitoba trellised without any winter protection, though somewhere sheltered like against a building makes a good micro climate. added seeds to our shop, seedlings won’t be exactly the same but you’ll likely get some green grape with similar cold hardiness.

seedling grapes, these ones are from Brianna which is a cold hardy green table grape. The seedlings won't be exactly the same, but they should be comparable. this is how we get new and interesting grape cultivars, grow out some seedlings and see what they're like. a good starting point here is that the vines are surviving -40 and producing medium/large excellent grapes, so you're likely to get the cold hardiness and a green grape with some variation on vigour, ripening, fruit size, how tight the clusters are, disease resistance, surely flavour, maybe brix? I'm interested to find out.
