The Siberian Crabapple (Malus baccata) is a small to medium-sized deciduous tree, native to Siberia, Northern China, and Mongolia. It typically grows up to 25 feet tall with a spread of about 20 feet. The tree has showy white or pink flowers, and small, round fruit that can be red or yellow and is about 0.5 to 1 inch in diameter.
The Siberian Crabapple is also used as a rootstock for grafting other apple varieties due to its cold tolerance and resistance to some pests and disease
