Our wild Sea Buckthorn seedlings are a less cultivated selection, they'll be a 50/50 mix of male and female plants.   Works well for landscaping, adding some variety, pollinators and fruit production. Hippophae rhamnoides is a hardy, deciduous shrub or small tree native to Europe and Asia, particularly around coastal areas and riverbanks. It grows anywhere from 6-20 feet tall depending on the site conditions with a similar spread, forming dense thorny thickets.  The female shrubs produce bright orange berries in early fall with a tart, citrus flavor and are highly nutritious, rich in vitamins C and E, antioxidants, and essential fatty acids.

Cold Hardiness Zone: 3
Mature Size: 6-20 ft tall, 6-20 ft wide.
