Taylor Apple Pear Tree

Taylor Apple Pear is an Asian pear introduced by Green Barn Nursery and named for its round, apple shaped fruit. The pears are about 2 inches across, with red blushed skin and juicy, sweet flesh typical of Asian pears. Fruit ripens from late September into mid October.

Taylor is self fertile, but another compatible pear can improve production. The nursery is still evaluating the cultivar locally, and young grafts survived their first winter.
