Yellow Sweet Clover (Melilotus officinalis), also called Yellow Melilot, is a fragrant biennial or short lived perennial native to Europe and Asia and widely naturalized elsewhere. Its small yellow pea flowers attract bees and butterflies.

Like other legumes, it fixes nitrogen and has been used as a cover crop, green manure, and forage plant.
