Siberian Ginseng (Eleutherococcus senticosus), also called Devil's Shrub, is a slow growing woody perennial native to forest edges in China and Russia. It is not a true ginseng, although its roots and leaves have a long history of use in tea.
The seed can be slow and irregular to germinate, with some seedlings emerging in the second spring.
