Wild grape seed collected in Montana. Montana plant records list Vitis riparia as the only native grape, so this is likely riverbank grape.
Vines can reach about 50 to 60 feet and are long lived. Fruit is small, dark blue, and about 0.25 to 0.5 inch. It is edible but smaller than table grapes. Excellent for wildlife or for growing on a fence or trellis.
