In our orchard in zone 3 (-40C / -40F), it's the only grape that will reliably survive above the snow line.

Grows small 0.25-0.5" (6-15mm) dark blue grapes
Grapes are edible but not as large or tastey as a cultivar grape.
Excellent for wildlife or for growing over a fence or trellis.
