Peking Cotoneaster (Cotoneaster acutifolius) is an upright, rounded shrub native to Siberia, Mongolia, and China. It tolerates poor soil, drought once established, and urban conditions.
Small white spring flowers tinged with pink are followed by persistent fruit that matures from red to black. Scarlet fall foliage and dense growth suit hedges, screens, and grouped plantings.
