Pear Scion Wood

Pear scion wood is dormant growth from named cultivars for grafting onto compatible rootstock or established pear trees. Ussurian pear seedlings are the standard rootstock at Oak Summit, while cold hardy OHxF rootstocks can also be suitable. Pear may also graft onto some Saskatoon and Cotoneaster plants.

Each scion is about 8 inches long and 1/4 to 3/8 inch in diameter, with the cut ends sealed in beeswax. The product options provide the current cultivar selection.
