We have Magnolia Hill Elderberry shrubs available, a hardy cultivar of the native American elderberry known for its high yield and large clusters of deep purple-black berries. This vigorous shrub grows 6-10 feet tall, with an upright, spreading habit. In early summer, it produces large, flat-topped clusters of fragrant white flowers, which attract pollinators. These flowers give way to berries that ripen in late summer to early fall, perfect for making jams, jellies, syrups, and wine.

‘Magnolia Hill’ is well-suited to Canadian climates, tolerating a wide range of soil types but thriving best in moist, well-drained soils in full sun to partial shade. It is a valuable addition to wildlife gardens, providing food and shelter for birds and beneficial insects. This cultivar is also prized for its ease of care and cold hardiness.
