Jimmy Nardello Pepper Seeds

Jimmy Nardello is an Italian sweet frying pepper with long, thin red fruit and no heat. Angela Nardello brought the pepper from Basilicata, Italy, to Connecticut in 1887. Her son Jimmy later shared the family seed with Seed Savers Exchange, and the variety is listed in the Slow Food Ark of Taste.

The ripe peppers have a rich fruity sweetness and are used fried, roasted, grilled, or fresh.
