Jacob's Ladder (Polemonium caeruleum) is a hardy perennial with divided foliage arranged like the rungs of a ladder. Clusters of blue to violet bell shaped flowers rise above the leaves from late spring into summer.
Plants favour partial shade and cool, moist, well drained soil and are less tolerant of prolonged heat and high humidity.
