Indigo Treat is a compact and upright growing haskap or honeyberry, early ripening more firm fruit, with an intense flavour.
- 'Indigo Gem': Known for its spreading habit, medium-sized, oval berries with a sweet-tart flavour, and early ripening.

'Indigo Treat': More compact and upright than 'Indigo Gem,' with smaller, firmer berries that are also sweet-tart but with a slightly more intense flavour.
Native to boreal forests and low lying wetlands across Canada, they're incredibly cold hardy. Reaches a mature size of about 3-4 feet in height and spread. You can grow them in partial shade, but to get the best growth and fruit production grow them in full sun.
Haskaps need to cross pollinate with other cultivars or seedlings so set fruit, so plant with other varieties which flower at the same time.
