Hall's Pink, also known as Webster's Pinkmeat and Reinhard Schomberg Gottingen, is a dessert apple cultivar known for its distinctive appearance and flavor. The apples are medium to large and round in shape, featuring a base color of pale green washed with bright red over half of the surface. The skin of the Hall's Pink apple is thin and insubstantial. Notably, this apple is not a true red-fleshed variety; its coloration can vary with the seasons. In more colorful years, the apples exhibit bright red skin with underlying pink-tinged flesh. The flavor of Hall's Pink apples is described as beautifully delicate, similar to the Merton Knave variety but with distinct differences.

We enjoyed these at the nursery this fall, our grafts fruited for the first time and we finally got to try them.  The apples were large and ripened in fall, excellent eating off the tree.
