Golden Currant (Ribes aureum), also called Clove Currant, is a North American shrub with berries that ripen yellow, red, or black and can be eaten fresh or cooked.
Three lobed aromatic leaves and fragrant yellow spring flowers give the shrub additional interest. Plants tolerate drought once established and grow in sun or partial shade.
