Fushimi Pepper Seeds

Fushimi is a traditional sweet frying pepper associated with the Fushimi area of Kyoto, where this type has been grown since the Edo period. Its long slender thin walled fruit is harvested green for tempura, grilling, stir fry, and fresh cooking.

The tender peppers have mild sweetness and no meaningful heat. Fruit can ripen red when left on the plant.
