European Mountain Ash (Sorbus aucuparia) is native to Europe and has pinnate foliage with clusters of bright orange red fruit in late summer and fall. The berries remain valuable food for birds and other wildlife into winter.
The tree has a long place in European folklore and tolerates urban conditions better than many small landscape trees.
