Easy Pickings Gooseberry (Ribes uva-crispa 'Easy Pickings')

Easy Pickings is a cultivar introduced by Boughen Nurseries in Canada. It has manageable thorniness and good fruit production.  This variety is particularly noted for its ease of picking due to its relatively sparse thorns, the berries are medium to large in size, deep red when ripe with a sweet yet slightly tangy flavour.
