A species of larch native to large forests in Siberia, and northern Mongolia, China and Korea.
Named after Olga Bay in the Sea of Japan.
Larches are deciduous conifers - they shed their needles for the winter after a bright yellow-orange show of color in the fall.
Grows up to 80-90' (25-30 meters) tall
One tree in Yakutia was recorded as over 900 years old.

Planting instructions: Plant outdoors in the fall for best results or cold stratify in the fridge and spring plant. Plant 1/4" deep, tamp and lightly mulch. Young conifer seedlings can benefit from some partial shade in the first year. Grow in a bed for two years to get them up to size for transplanting.
