Pack contains: 15+ seeds
Amur Maackia (Maackia amurensis) is a small rounded tree native to Manchuria, northeastern China, and Korea. Young leaves open silvery grey, mature leaves are dark green, and older bark peels into copper brown flakes and curls.
Creamy white pea flowers appear in June or July, followed by flat brown seed pods. The tree fixes nitrogen and has good resistance to common pests and diseases.
Soaking the seed in hot tap water for 24 hours helps break its physical dormancy.
