American Mountain Ash (Sorbus americana)

The American Mountain Ash is a native North American tree, valued for its ornamental features and adaptability. It typically grows to a height of 20 to 30 feet with a spread of about 15 to 25 feet, making it a medium-sized tree suitable for various landscape settings.  Thrives in well-drained, acidic soil and prefers full sun to partial shade.

One of its most striking features is its clusters of bright red berries, which appear in late summer and persist into winter, providing visual interest and a food source for birds and wildlife. In spring, the tree produces white flowers, which are both visually appealing and attractive to pollinators.
