Alpine Strawberry (Fragaria vesca) is a compact perennial that produces small, intensely flavoured berries through much of the growing season. The aromatic fruit is often compared to wild strawberry and pineapple.
Plants form neat clumps and produce few runners. They grow in sun or partial shade and benefit from winter cover in colder gardens.
