upright prairie coneflower, the fastest wildflower from seed to actually flower that I'm growing. a perennial flower with an interesting cone that extends through the season, they're also called mexican hat. The seedlings shown here were cold stratified through feb and march and then started in our greenhouse in april, photos taken mid july
