Manitoba has dramatic swings in temperature

Manitoba has dramatic swings in temperature, two weeks ago we were getting frost at night, now we’re in a heat wave a full 20C (40F) increase in temperature. By mid September we’ll have frost again (this is when you bring in all the green tomatoes). On a good year we can pull through until November without snow cover, but it’s usually white by Halloween and the ground will always freeze mid October. #northerngardening
