making greenhouse hoops from the top railings designed for chainlink

Oak Summit Nursery · Southern Manitoba

making greenhouse hoops from the top railings designed for chainlink fencing. they're an excellent fit, can be combined to make larger hoops and can be easily bent with a makeshift frame like this using some forms and boards for supports. Its doesn't really matter what you bend the poles around so long as it creates a gradual curve that ends up in the shape that you like, and then you can repeat it across all of your hoops so that it's uniform. Here about a dozen ribs were created with two and a half lengths of toprail each. Later after they were in place, some more pieces were added to create trusses and bracing to support for snow load.
