'Sokol' Plum Seeds (Prunus sp.) - (Zone 3) - 15 Seeds

We have plum seeds available, collected locally from a large healthy plum tree, cultivar unknown and we named 'Sokol' just after the location. The seedlings will vary in growth habits, fruit size, and flavor and share some traits with the seed parent in the photos. They will share the cold hardy genetics, here in zone 3 the tree is fully hardy to -40C. 

Planting plum seeds offers the potential for unique flavors and qualities, adding a bit of mystery and generic diversity to your orchard or garden. New plum cultivars are always discovered by planting seeds. Another good option is to use them as a rootstock and graft on other plum cultivars.
