The fruit is about 2¾–3 inches across, with a pale background and pink to red blush. It was introduced at Morden, Manitoba, in 1961.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePrairie Hardy reports ripening in late August in Alberta and storage for up to two months. Plant in full sun with well drained soil and another compatible apple or flowering crabapple nearby.
