Boreal Beauty Haskap (Lonicera caerulea ‘Boreal Beauty’)
Boreal Beauty Haskap is a standout variety of honeyberry, developed at the University of Saskatchewan for its large, sweet-tasting fruit and impressive cold hardiness. The name Beauty was inspired by the berry's unique shape . It grows 4-6 feet tall and wide, with an upright, bushy form that's perfect for small spaces, edible landscapes, or home orchards. It produces clusters of small, pale yellow flowers in early spring, which are attractive to pollinators.
The berries of Boreal Beauty are larger and sweeter than many other haskap varieties, ripening in mid to late summer.
